#55188 i have a question about what wires i need and don't need . i have a 93 cx hatch with a d16z6 swap and i started a wire tuck and want to get rid of any wire that i dont need for the car to run my buddy has a prelude and mention that his car is running fine and removed all but like 17 wires i am hopeing to do the same thing i have removed the heater so i am getting rid of those but i was curious about wires to the engine[quote][/quote]

#55190 you'll still need most of the wires to the engine. relocating your battery & fuse box will help keep wires out of your bay. The main idea is to have the wires enter the bay behind the motor instead from each corner of the firewall. Slightly enlarge the hole from the heater core and that is a good place. And the wires that run along the sides you move to run outside the bay inside the fender well.
