#168605 stock motor? if you got the right ecu for it, why are you running a chipped P28? sounds like the P28 may be damaged or something. no reason it should be doing that if its tuned for your setup..

#168621 well the intake manifold has been ported and polished and port matched to the intake. along with butterfly delete. the weirdest thing about it is it like it has a mind of its own n some times pulls like a mofo n then other its like screw you im going in to hibernation. im lost :? i have hear of chrome erasing it self from ecu's if it did that could it not getting the correct amont of fuel? :?

#168625 Crome has issues. Its cheap, but it does weird things and will lead to a broken engine when it messes up.

I have a chipped p28 running eCtune software for my modded b16.

I would recommend getting retuned on eCtune, Neptune or Hondata. They will be much more relaible.

Having a good tune is better then a stock ecu and its set for your engine and will get more power out of your engine on just a tune. They key is to have a GOOD tuner. If your tuner recommended Crome. Leave and find a new tuner.

Having a stock h22 ECU is always a good idea for a back up.

My tuner said that crome has issues, It wont have the same hp on the same settings on two dyno runs. Said it has issues and you get what you pay for. I took his suggestion and got tuned on eCtune.

A Friend of mine drives a LSvtec Hatch.(stock ls rods/pistons, b16 oil pump, gsr water pump, arp rod bolts, arp head bolts, b17 gsr head) Tuned on Crome pro. His engines last 6 to 9 months before he got rod knock, Rebuild this ls/v with a new ls block, and then 8 months later, rod knock. After putting in anouther Ls block, he got his ls/v retuned on Nepture. He Still is racing on that same engine, This one has been around for close to 2 and half years now.

Suspended Hatch recommends against Crome in itself is enough to make me go anouther path, with everything else I have read/heard I decided to go anouther path.

Its cool that the creator of crome will tune your car. I know I couldn't personally trust crome. If I was you I would get tuned on eCtune or Hondata s300.
