#106915 The color of the wire doesn't tell us anything. We need to know if it's for tach signal, power, illumination, or ground.

By the way it's not a "rev counter" it's a tachometer.

#106938 Sorry lol, but this kind of thing doesn't suit me i'm trying to learn as I go, How would I find out what it is? Just use a volt meter, There was no instruction manual that came with it, it was in my old car that I wrote off and it was all wired up before, I didn't do the conversion so I never saw where it came from :(

#106952 every tach that ive seen the tach signal is the green wire, green goes to the blue wire behind ur cluster, red and yellow is power (switched 12v) white wire is ur ground, hope that helps and that it works out.

#107097 Red should be from a key on source and when possible take the white/(in your case)yellow to a dash light, that way your tach light will dim with the rest.

Neither have i seen a tach that the green wire was not tach signal.tap into blue wire behind cluster.

Give him a break. Let them have their "Windscreens", "Wings", "Bonnets", "Boots", "Boot lids", "Gearboxes", "Aluminium", and "Rev counters"

Oh, do they really call it that? I heard everything else in your list but I chalked up "rev counter" to nooby-ness. My bad.

Don't forget "tarmac". I used to watch WRC and I was like "What's that? Are they talking about the airport?"

And "mags".
