Is it possible to Keep ABS when K-swapping a Civic EG6?

Postby EB3 » Sun Mar 04, 2018 6:04 pm

Hi
My name is Erik and I live in Sweden
I own a 1992 Civic Vti EG6 Hatchback , I'm about to make a swap to a K20A2 engine.
But
Is it possible to keep the original ABS unit?
Some say it will hit the exuast header?

Thanks in advance .
Kind regards
Erik in Sweden

This is a K20a engine, K20z3 transmission, Skunk2 Alpha K swap header, Hybrid-Racing motor mounts on the furthest forward position. I haven't had ABS in an EG for a few years so I can't remember exactly how far forward the modulator and accumulator sit on the passenger side (assuming LHD). If it does fit It would be close to the heat of the exhaust than I would prefer. The transmission differential housing is also only about 1 inch from hitting the power steering rack on the driver's side.

If you send more pics of the ABS pump and maybe a tape measure next to it I can measure more precisely for you.
