#319425 Will do! I'm looking at some issues with the current setup right now pertaining to my drivers side bracket that goes to the mount. I think it may be stripped out of the block, I may just drop this project and go d series turbo. I've got time tho since its winter

#319849 Reason why I'm taking the interior out was because I was gonna have everything black.......come to find out that only the sir 4 doors had black pieces. So yeah screw that, I want to still have black interior so i guess im stuck painting. I dont want a super glossy black look just as close to factory as possible. Question is what is the best paint/brand i can use for long lasting and tips on how to clean surfaces after painted.

#319857 always clean with wax and grease remover,

use VHT vinyl paint

i used that stuff and has held up for almost 4 years :) hasnt flaked/scratched off.. its all about the prep AND TAKE YOUR TIME :thumb: :thumb:

it says wait 10-15min for paint to dry, wait 30-40min :thumb: :thumb:

hope that helps

Nice, my boss was telling me that he has 6 cans of VHT vinyl paint that hes gonna sell me for $20! Haha Im looking at the available colors right now, id assume the closest to the factory black would be the black satin? I dont want super glossy just a clean "oem" interior. One other thing, how do you go about cleaning it, im super worried that after its done curing (for a week ) that when it times to clean it it would wipe off of slowly fade...

Also i plan on wrapping the cloth part of the doors and headliner in suede, any tips on that and recommended fabric and adhesion promoter for the wrap?

#320020 Weather pending, Ill be taking the motor out and inspecting the head and block for any warpage. I decided against ordering the h2b kit last week, I wanted to save up a little more so Ill be purchasing it next friday and have it delivered to my work for cheaper shipping! :thumb:.

Got a long road ahead of me and so many things that need to be done. My first go I just tried to get everything in and not worry about it looking pretty or if everything was 100%. 80% was good enough for me at the time and figured id just enjoy it and get everything ironed out over time and it turned to bite me in the ass twice so far. So I'm going all out this time my goal is to make a few passes at honda day fall or spring

#320088 yup use satin black :) and i use meguiars interior wipes, works great and colour hasnt faded, still looks good :D

and with fabric get something abit thick (so glue wont go through it and look like poo)

as for the adhesion get some quik grip spray adhesion, or something nice and heavy duty :D

#320164 Busy day couldn't get much done but did what I could. Started on wire management, redid the wires for my backup and neutral safety, and started to run the wires for my boost/vac, oil press, and wideband but couldn't really find a route i wanted to take to keep it away from the steering and pedals. So i decided to run it through the little opening i have highlighted in white, is this a good place?

Also the part i have highlighted in black does it come in black and if not would be a good idea/worth it too paint it black as well?

Head off, gonna be doing some work to it, plus since this motor is so damn heavy makes it easier to take the rest out tomorrow since we have to jack the body up with shitty jacks......

Like i said, alot of work left. Going to properly remove the p/s instead of the hose just sitting in a bottle lol. I MIGHT be brave enough to attempt abs delete come spring time, any help on that matter would be greatly appreciated

#320798 Parts ordered, since the car will be down until march. I'm debating on focusing a little bit more on the interior, I know I talked/asked about painted pieces but I'm looking into carpet and headliner wrap. Any suggestions on a place that sells oem carpet that does not need to be cut?
