there will be an update today please be patient had to deal with a foot of water in my basement and still cleaning up after that still sits no bumpers or fenders going to the junkyard tomarrow to maybe score some inner rubber fenders and other things but yea hopeing to get it all together today and get some pics.....

so in a rush to get things done i decided to go ahead and put the old front back on id love it if it wasnt drilled and cuto full of holes but o well.....anyhow going to the junkyard today to see what i can find got a rather large list and hopeing to fill my desires and get most of it with the good ole money i got from the sale of the blue parts volvo woot! cannot wait will post pics hopefully today of what i have so far driving up with one wiper today as my d.side is still getting some work done ohhh well.....

so junkyard today same old bullcrap with many egs and some eks and the same efs that have been in there for about a month now and really are practically stripped....
anyhow got some decent things in there at least......
stuff i wasnt intending on finding but found and bought anyways
-PILOT steering wheel aftermarket looks like a sparco copy but had horn buttons and was in a decent rx7 2nd gen
-a rear spoiler for a 850 volvo hard to find and my buddy may want it
-P28 ecu manual trans idk may keep it or may do a quick cash thing so i can get more parts for the car
-a new in boxfactory volvo tail light im sure someone paid an arm and a leg for it and i only paid 12$ lol
now lets get onto stuff for my car i have pics of some things
-sunvisors from a 4dr ef seeing if they will work and if they do then im going to recover them
a pair of inner fenders wanted to buy these before installing the fender markers i could only imagine the bad things that could happen without them.....
A new TYC passenger headlight as my crx was apparently in a wreck at one point and the brackets where all bent so i just said screw it when i found this thing may go out and buy a new drivers side to match
And i also got my hands on a 90-93 accord climate control and some other small bits and pieces to hopefully get my car going again in the right direction
and heres how it sits now nothing really different except holes in the fender and stuff you cant see of coarse lol....
still debating on if im going to do a full obd1 swap or find a integra or accord door harness and go at it....so i have cruise control power windows and mirrors and other things....
ohhh and almost forgot i had a awd civic corner lens that i threw on as it looks better then the ef one did....

Nice progress getting the car together but man you need to order some eBay corners or something. Just convert the door harnesss.

ohhh i bought some 5$ clear corners never used only issue is they are clear going to try my best to hunt down the amber spray havent yet found a store that still open around me for it.....
anyhow if the weather is nice i might have some more pictures to post up i cannot wait to actually have the crx looking decent....

yea idk we shall see what happens well i guess i shall update quickly with some more pics
yesturday i decided to fix the licence plate bulb in the rear bumper and after finding the foam inserts whoops forgot to put those in decided to pull the rear bumper and finish painting all the rims.....
Then today i gave her a wash and went up on a hill and took some pics god i love driving my car

and decided to rock the stock intake cleanest part of the engine right now
before the wash
and now lets just whore out the pics on the hill shall we

Well the crx shall be put on a hold for right now as i get to work on getting the car for my girlfriend done right and whatnot.... needs a new head as it apparently had a valve chip ill check that one out first, catback exhaust already have a brand new one rear bumper support and for the most part that is all it needs to pass an inspection my only worry is that rear bumper support and i thought when i was turning it an axel might be going but thankfully i have some money left over so we will go and take it for a spin and see how it dose and what else it will need only paid 440 to buy it and have it delivered so cant wait to hand over the keys to the girlfriend.....

So alot of work ahead of me i hope i can get it done in teh deadline as my g/f really badly wants a car so im going to put all my effort in and get this one good.

So a quick update went to the junkyard and stayed for about 6hrs of full on auto dismantling got parts for my crx and everything i needed for the hatchback to get it perfect.....anyhow im hoping to have this done in a week for my g/f to use but with this rain im really doing what i can out of it for now....anyhow lets show the pics
some of the stuff i got at the junkyard
and the peice that took me forever to find yes i checked practically all of them and lets just say this was the best one freaking hate ny salt....
cut and wire brushed
going to box in the ends and give it some rustoleum to make it last
and a project i wanted to get going on was the rear speakers they are overpriced i couldnt find a set so i just made my own alot better then how the previous owner did his....
after and before
Getting the rear speakers done tonight i have grilles that go over them and i will also be cutting the sheetmetal for the rear support.....cant wait for the sun to come out but the outlook all this week is really shitty....
but i hope i really do hope i can get this car done so she can use it and get back to my crx and making this thread about it lol

update on the hatch project just got back from the junkyard well not just but got back from the yard pulled a D16y7 that seemed proffessionally done up with y8 bits such as knock sensor and all that good stuff. also snagged a auto pm6 for a mpfi swap lol go figure i cant leave it alone but hopeing to get the car going within the next few days but we shall see...picks of the engine to come shortly cant wait to freaking work on my car as im getting fuel issues intermittantly of coarse thinking its the main relay we shall see tho.......

So heres the update to the hatch been awhile but got the engine cleaned up inspected it replaced the timing belt and water pump and popped it in surprisingly very easily damn automatic lol only thing going for it .......but yea anyhow ive been going the extra step and cleaning best i can so without further adu a shit load of pictures......
got a better condition power steering cover plate as well
then go figure as usual i decide to go that extra step and clean everything
And then it received the new exhaust
towards the night it started to look like a car again
and when i woke up the next day it was lol
then it was time to tackle the 3cyl dseries
the issue
To cut down on the pics ill just say that i fucked up and stripped one of the headbolt threads in the block so instead of hoping that wouldn't happen again i went ahead the next day and pulled a engine
so out with the old
and the new beast to look forward to a d16y7 with a y8 head
engine bay i loved i didnt have to take the trans out this time around....
cleaning the engine
cut and painted the timing belt cover
and once that was all said and done and i had what i wanted installed i dropped her in went in rather smoothly
and then started cleaning up the bay alittle
And then it was time to head in take a shower and type this out but this is how it looks now
