When tensioning, you crank the cam sprocket clockwise to tension it, right? :eh:

- Fri Aug 21, 2015 5:28 pm #355435 So, I checked the Mechanical timing and everything is spot-on. The ignition timing was off, so we put the car in diagnostics mode and Rotated the distributor until the 3 marks on the crankshaft pulley lined up with the plastic marker on the timing belt cover. The car idled very well and only stumbled a bit upon revving. Then, we reset the ECU and let it idle for 10 minutes. Then, when I gave it a rev, it stumbled a LOT. When we took it for a short test drive (the car was at operating temperature), it accelerated perfectly when only at 15-25% throttle. Any more than that, and it stumbled very badly and would not accelerate barely at all. This is starting to make me assume that it could be the Throttle Position Sensor? Keep in mind that the CEL isn't on and its not throwing a code. Somebody help me out? :?
