My never ending EG8 sedan build (motor update pg 18)

- Thu Aug 16, 2012 10:08 pm #313635 havnt been on here in a while..still trying to settle in here in florida...but anyways...ive been trying to save up some money so i can redo my motor...im getting the block bored and honed .020 over with new pistons and rings, getting the crank cut and ballanced and having the machine shop who order the rod and main bearings this way the can cut the crank to perfect spec., redoing ALL the gaskets and seals, new water pump, possibly new oil pump, and the head is going to get milled as well, this time i should not have ANY problems with the rebuild....im hoping to order my pistons and rings and all the gaskets next week when i get paid...


any suggestions or even criticism is always welcome :lol:

repainted my K Sport LCA purple instead of orange

and last but not least...i had recently moved back up here to NY and on the drive home my driver side motor mount decided to rip out of my block... :thumbdown: :x :?: ....so i ended up having to make a new bracket for a mount...so far so good its kinda like a solid mount now though lol

i used a regular flat black paint from duplicolor seams to be lasting but i notices a chip in one spot from a rock or something on the highway..and as for the motor....i never seen anything like it either..i was in shock...at first i noticed the car was handling weird and thought i blew out one of my coilover shocks...then my shifter started moving allover so i pulled over and saw my motor basically sitting on the pavement :? :thumbdown:

- Mon Oct 22, 2012 2:39 am #318358 so once again my bad luck decided to fuck me over last week...got into an accidentand messed up my car pretty good..but the good news is shes still goin :thumb: i think her new name is going to be frankenstien... :lol: :lol:

just got a new fender, headlights and HIDs because my ballast got destroyed, hood release cable, lower control arm, and got a used carbon fiber hood for $70..the hood need a bit of work...need new clear coat and on the passenger side front corner is chipped pretty badly..but i have some ideas to fix it .but for 70 i couldnt pass it up..thats cheaper than a used hood from the junkyards in my area...i have some pics of the damage but no pics of the new parts yet..im still having troubles getting everything aligned correctly..the hood seems to be shifting and bending when it actually locks down in place...but that should be fixed by tomorrow

yea i got that in just before the accident..luckily it just dot a little road rash..nothing crazy though..ill get some pics up when i get the chance

At work when im tearing down automatic honda n acura transmissions
And the clucth packs are burnt this my reason why they are burnt
