Computer and Turbo

just wondering if i will be able to re tune my standard computer to the addition of the turbo? been told i "should" be able to but will only be able to run low boost.
is it possible to keep standard computer with a turbo and run a good amount of boost through it ?
(i will be getting a decent computer in time)
