So I really want to get this fixed but don't really kno how to approach it...idk if I can buy these new or if I can do it myself....lik painting it or something (the chrome is pissing me off :x )

You can paint it if you want. That's what i did or order the part

As far as taking them off....do I hav to remove the door panel???

I took advantage on my day off and weather to do it....
I had to work wit wat I had....
Came out kinda crappy but def looks better then before
