well, since you already bought them... might as well use them. I bought a set years ago for $125 and the paint was flaking off the springs in 2 years and they were rusting. The ride was alright, but the springs looked horrible.
you put the threaded collar over your shocks & there should be a small screw on the side to tighten them to the shock body. Might wanna wrap your shocks with a layer of dust tape where the screw contacts them to prevent them from rusting. Unles they are the OEM shocks, they will be blown out soon anyways after you put lowering springs on them.

Step by Step DIY. Its for a EK but its close enough to figure out what to do.
I have the Same type Coil-overs on my car. They are okay. Nothing great. I will buy better coil overs on nicer then OEM Struts when I get the chance though.

I bought a del sol awhile ago. It was riding extremely low. So I looked under the car to see what it was riding on. The guy that previously owned the del sol used a coilover sleeve set from ebay!

... im not baggin on you.. but I would just buy a decent set of springs with shocks. Maybe like some Eibach springs with Kyb shocks... but thats me
