Main differences between DC2 and EG suspension?

So I know that DC2 suspension can be transferred over to the EG. I've heard that the only real benefit is the ability to fit rear discs.

Are there any differences in the stiffness of the struts and springs from the DC2? Could it be the ARBs that make the difference in performance between the 2 setups.

Been looking online without much luck so any help/advice is welcomed.

Cheers

Dan

I know that the swaybars are a bit bigger.

Bigger in width/thickness? IIRC the swaybars on the DC2 are 24mm. I understand that a thicker bar would mean more stiffness and less body roll.

My main thought is in regards to the damper stiffness. If the OEM struts on the DC2 are stiffer than the EG then that'll probably be the way I'll go, but if they are basically the same then I'll consider getting an aftermarket adjustable coilover.

OEM JDM DC2-R absorbers are most likely stiffer than OEM EG absorbers.

ive never used one but so far all feedbacks on EG owners who has used this combo are pretty positive handling wise... while still maintaining alot of comfort.

end of the day.. both are still no match for properly built adjustables in the handling department... id recommend going adjustables instead.
