teal hopefully this thread becomes a sticky!

hey im kyle aka kylenjdm93, im a k series guru,

apexracing! is a self made k series guru as well,

(speaking for you apex)

theres not alot of kswaps here on civic eg.com

they are expensive and alot of people are scared of the technology, you can build a decent reliable k longblock with tranny for less than a gsr swap.

any questions about a k series engine, transmission, or swap into a particular chassis post them up!

i personally have performed 4 k swaps in the last year and a half for friends and various friends of friends

i own a 93 civic ex coupe converted from auto to manual with a jdm k20a type r 6 speed into my civic engine bay, i run a kpro and have a mildly built engine.

ive done them in a ef, eg, ek, dc, and an em2

i work on rsx's and ep3 as well

my favorite chassis for the k swap are eg, and dc2

APEX owns and ep3 and im sure he does all his own maintenance as well

hey I'm looking at building a k for my delsol

I'm looking for 300hp and 250whp

which is the best way to go?
k20 or k24 bottom k20 head

also it's going to be somewhat daily but more of a weekend warrior cruiser
